Sitting on the rocks by the cemetery
Reading the ancient runes
“You are like Merlin” the wise one said
“Relearning what you already knew.”
Waiting for that instance
When darkness meets the light
Waiting for that twinkle
That says the fairies are a-flight.
Sitting on the rocks by the cemetery
My child by my side
We await that twilight hour
When the fairies and fireflies collide.
Don’t tell me to quiet, hush, or desist
As my imagination will conceive
All the wonders in store for me
In the land of Make Believe.

Beautiful. Makes me feel like day dreaming. This line is simply brilliant “When fairies and fireflies collide.” Sounds like a song.
