Down through a rabbit hole she fell and was led on quite a chase.
From a disappearing smiling cat to a mad hatter, growing big and shrinking small, she almost lost her head.

The weekend challenge was to rewrite our favorite stories in 33 words. I have many favorites, but Alice is the first to come to mind.
I welcome and appreciate feedback. Please feel free to leave your thoughts in a comment.
Thanks for stopping in!!

perfect last line
this was a classic retelling not summary. We saw Alice and those characters at Disney. AIW is totally different to adults than to children. I think Jefferson Airplane’s White Rabbit and acid trips. My kids see weird cartoon characters.
well done

I really need to go to Disney one day. The newest Alice with Johnny Depp is what comes to my mind but its mosly how vivid and colorful Carroll’s imagination was that makes this my favoritte story.

I felt myself zipped quickly along Alice’s journey. Tightly written 33. Thanks for linking up. Be sure to come back tomorrow for the special 33rd challenge. It’s going to be fun!

Yes, I liked the *bounciness* of this retelling – I think it reflects the technicolour feel of Carroll’s original…

You flatter me. If only I had a tenth of Carroll’s imagination…thank you so much!!
