- Go to page 7 or 77 in your current manuscript.
- Go to line 7.
- Copy down the next seven lines (sentences??) as they are – no cheating.

Here are the 7 lines following the 7th line of the 77th page in my (unedited and still uncompleted) manuscript: Toxic Lucidity
“I don’t care what he went through over there or post-traumatic stress disorder or whatever labels his doctor wants to attach to his name this week. Trust me. You are his whole world. Short of becoming a zombie, I can promise you it’s a surge of hormones on your end. That man is still head over heels in love with you. I’m so amazed you can’t see that.”
“Some days I really think he is becoming a zombie. You’ve seen the vacant look in his eyes. Haven’t you noticed how he seems different now? Even when he’s Martin, he’s still not completely himself.” Sobs overtook her again, and she couldn’t talk.
“Kate, first, calm down. Getting all upset like this can’t be good for the baby.”
