This week’s challenge was SO MUCH FUN!!! I’ll share the challenge at the end. Enjoy!

Like Alice through the loky gloo,
I watched her from afar
I wondered about the dimelo
Perched upon her chin
It was no easy task
To tear my aglenos away–
That dimelo with those rimps!
Oh! She was a dream come true.
The very way her pervocks moved
In a sontim all their own,
Made the very gimpet beneath my ferg
A quakety quimbeling mess.
Oh! If only she would come to me
With those great big aglenos
She’d lift the very gantz of me
All the way to my ignamoes.
We marched down the wigawoo
In our very best collutings
Just to hear the pretamor
Give neither veece nor roog.
He sent us on our merry way
With a pithy and a skrime
His last words left unheard
Her dimelo fell to the pribe.
The biggest igo you ever saw
Rested there just on her chin
It gaggled me with all its force–
A mighty hairy Foost!
For lack of wont to cut it off
And tarry my pretty lass
I shoved her mendit in the sand
Til she squirmed no more.
Like Alice through the loky gloo,
I watched her from afar
I wondered about the dimelo
Perched upon her chin
It was no easy task
To tear my aglenos away–
That dimelo with those rimps!
Oh! She was a dream come true.

This weeks Indie Ink Challenge came to me from Jason Hughes again (remember the sloth limerick?) and man was it fun!! His challenge was “Romantically Jabberwocky-ish”. I challenged Joe Sanders with “You are on your death bed. Your life is flashing before your eyes. One single memory is chosen to carry you into the afterlife. What is the memory?” You can find his response here by Thursday.

Love it! Such a fluid rhythm.
Absolutely perfect!
That was amazing! I would have been terrified at having to do that. You made it look so effortless and it flowed so well. It has left me with a big smile
Thank you. Maybe dealing with this whole speech thing and needing to understand a toddler came in handy, eh?
I love it – and I’m so impressed, I can’t image being able to make up my own version of Jabberwocky!
I didn’t think I could either, and it was so much fun to do. I totally think you could do it!
A world all you own, I love it! And with all those saucy undertones, I think…
Goodread!
Thanks, Billy. This was a lot of fun to start with!
So much fun to read through. I love the way you made up new words and everything just bounces along so well.
I won’t even bug you about being a keener and getting it done so soon
Hahaha,. Time is not on my side. I have Irene barreling in my direction, with the threat of power outages, so I have to get these done. I’m working on my BMWW prompt today too.
And you know, when it comes, you just have to go with it.
And this weeks challenge is off with a BANG!! I’ve read it through like five times now and I <3 it! I almost want to make a dictionary now with all these new words! FANTASTIC answer!!!
This was SUCH a fun prompt!! Thank you!
